Academic Integrity
|
As a Catholic co-educational high school committed to Christian values and academic excellence, we believe that success is grounded in personal and academic integrity. Honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility are the foundations of academic and personal integrity for all members of the Bethlehem Academy community. Our duties include modeling, encouraging and supporting academic integrity in one another by treating all individuals, ideas, environments, and property with respect, courtesy, and dignity. Thus, we uniformly deplore cheating, lying, fraud, misrepresentation, plagiarism, copying other students’ work, and other dishonest behaviors that jeopardize the rights, welfare and integrity of Bethlehem Academy. Consequences: These consequences are not limited to cheating in one class; they are cumulative. First documented offense: Zero credit for the work and parents will be notified. The President/Principal will be responsible for assigning any additional consequences and a meeting with the student in school. Second and subsequent documented offense: Consequences may include loss of credit for the class, academic probation, suspension and/ or dismissal. |
