BA Van Driver (part-time)

Bethlehem Academy is accepting applications for a second BA Van bus driver beginning August 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.  This is a part-time position, driving morning and afternoon routes on days when students are present for our second student van. 

Responsibilities include: 

  1. Pick-up students in the Webster-Lonsdale-Elko area and/or in Northfield at a designated location and transport them to and from Bethlehem Academy daily.
  2. Perform and record daily safety checks as required by Minnesota Department of Transportation.
  3. Keep the vehicle filled with gas.
  4. Maintain safety of the vehicle.
  5. Inform the school of concerns and/or needs regarding the van.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid MN driver license
  2. Successful completion of:
a. Background Check
b. Protection of Children and Youth Essential 3 requirements/Virtus training
c. Physical by approved DOT physician including drug test
d. Class III Bus Driver training session
       3. Enjoy working with adolescents on a daily basis
      4.  Ability to maintain safe environment within the van
