High school students must complete 3.5 credits of social studies including world history, geography, U.S. history, economics, American government and citizenship. Additionally, students must complete Foundations of Personal Finance.
The Class of 2026 will need to complete Economics and Foundations of Personal Finance.
The Class of 2027 will need to complete Economics, Foundations of Personal Finance and American Government & Ciitizenship. Members of the Class of 2027 may also need to complete U.S. History if they did not take US History during their sophomore year.
Class of 2028 and Beyond:- 9th Grade: World History & Geography
- 10th Grade: Economics
- 11th Grade: U.S. History (may substitute both CIS US History courses)
- 12th Grade: American Government & Citizenship
- Must also complete Foundations of Personal Finance during grades 10-12 and one additional social studies elective.
