Bethlehem Academy students will have the opportunity to participate in the Bilingual and Multilingual Seals and World Language Proficiency Certificate program through the State of Minnesota. This program allows students to take a qualifying exam in a language other than English to demonstrate proficiency and earn a special commendation on their transcript. Schools within the Minnesota State (formerly MNSCU) system have agreed to award college credit to students with bilingual or multilingual seals or certificates on their transcripts. Other schools in Minnesota may also choose to award credit, but the student will need to discuss this with the individual school’s academic department. This option is usually offered to Spanish IV/V students. |
